Weekly Outlook: Oct. 12–18, 2026
Oxford will have a stretch of warm, dry weather this week before a strong cold front brings fall temperatures next weekend.
LAST WEEK IN OXFORD
The Oxford Weather station (KGAOXFOR25) recorded 4.02 inches of rain from Oct. 5 through Oct. 11. Most of it, 3.89 inches, fell on Saturday, Oct. 10, as the remnants of Isaias moved through Georgia.

THIS WEEK
The National Weather Service office in Peachtree City expects quiet weather for the work week. With dry air in place, highs are forecast to reach the mid to upper 80s. The NWS says that as moisture returns around midweek, afternoon heat index values could climb back into the 90s. Overnight lows are expected in the 50s and 60s.
FOX 5 Atlanta meteorologist Alex Forbes says record high temperatures are possible this week. FOX 5’s forecast for Atlanta calls for highs of 84 degrees Monday, 86 Tuesday, 87 Wednesday, 88 Thursday and 84 Friday.
NEXT WEEKEND
The NWS says some computer models show a strong cold front pushing down from the north by next weekend. FOX 5 is forecasting a high of 68 degrees Saturday with a low of 45, and a high of 66 Sunday with a low of 48.
A NOTE ON STORM DAMAGE
The ground is still soaked from Isaias. Trees weakened by Saturday’s wind and rain can still fall in the days after a storm.
FOX 5 forecast numbers are for Atlanta. Temperatures in Oxford may differ by a few degrees.
