There are candidates who run for office because they want a title, and then there are candidates who run because they feel called to serve. Bret Dunn is the latter.
The Covington attorney and proud Marine Corps veteran is stepping into the race for Georgia State Senate District 42, and if his life story is any indication, this is a man who does not take commitments lightly. Before Bret Dunn ever set foot in a courtroom, he wore the uniform of the United States Marine Corps with pride. He answered his country's call, put on that uniform, and served this nation with the kind of honor and commitment that only those who have worn it truly understand. That kind of service changes a person. It instills discipline, grit, and an unshakable sense of responsibility to something greater than yourself.
